| hi i have an ig2600 that was overloaded with a very long lead now thier is no power coming from it .someone said the avr is blown any help would be great thanks |

| If the engine is running but there is no electrical power then it is likely the main inverter control card has failed. if you are competent to do so check that:
1) the engine speed is not racing away at full throttle
2) the voltage on the 3 black wires leading to the inverter is about 350V ac with the engine running normally not racing.
if you have power from the generator but no power from the control board it has been overloaded and has failed. Replacement is the only option. Where are you? I had a call from a UK customer for this same fault. Was it you? |

| hi im in ireland the generator is running normal with the green light on .i will check the three black wires.is this unit expensive.thanks |

| With the engine running and the large white plug un connected there should be 350V ac any black to black, it needs checking across all 3 possibilities. The white to white should show 12 - 15v ac.
if there really is no output from the 3 black wires then with the engine TURNED OFF check the resistance of all combinations of black to black. Let me know what they are |

| hi,when i unplugged the plug with three black and two white wires the engine started revving on full throttle. |

| yes it will. once the board is disconnected there is no throttle control. Just close the throttle with your finger, push the black flag under the stepper motor to close the throttle untill its at a nice even running speed. If the black wires are producing power then the fault has to lie with the inverter card
