| We seem to be having a few problems with regards to the operation of the generator unit when coupled with the ATS. The generator starts if we cut the incoming supply but the ATS never switches over from the mains to the generator circuit, attempting to force it to do so by switching the configuration over to manual and selecting "Network Power" as the required power input does nothing. Is there anything else we need to configure to successfully be able to run the generator and ATS combination, such as configuring acceptable working voltage brackets on the ATS, start-up delay time, etc? |

As an update on this, we tried a new ATS, a new control module and tested the cable. We found the manual that tells us how to set up the various parameters on the ATS but we are still experiencing the same problem when testing the generator. There is voltage, approx 228v, getting to the ATS box from the generator but it simply refuses to switch to unit supply. |

I do not know why I am updating this but the ATS dropped the incoming supply again this morning (most probably due to an overcurrent situation) at around 02:30. Only the circuits protected by the standby generator were affected. Incoming mains was not lost.
Generator started but the ATS failed (as always) to transfer over to the generator input. |

If you have not lost the will to live have a look on my website wwww.smallplantrepirs.co.uk on the section "about" there is a forum. We had a very similar problem there and WE DID resolve it. Look at the website and read it through
